MAROCCO'S WHITE MARLIN

In
late August angler Carlo Vernocchi went to Casablanca to
give a look at the fishing potentiality for marlin. In
this area, from August to the end of September, there are
good runs of white marlin with an average size from 25 to
45 kilos. Biggest exemplars can reach up to 60 kilos.
During his visit, at the beginning of the season, he was
very impressed by the quantity of the fishes he found; in
4 days of fishing, two of his friends
and he himself hooked, with success, 16 white marlins and
some dorados. The best fish was about 35 kilos.
Here in Casablanca there is a new good fishing operation
that disposes of two 25 feet boat with high quality
equipment of 20 and 30; surely a new fishing spot for
marlin very close to Europe.
